SNAKE SKIN!!!!! This shirt was very big on me, but I knew it had potential! It turned out just how I imagined it. I cut off the sleeves, took it in on the sides, and sewed down a collar. By adding a waist belt it made the look even more classy!

Goodwill finds
One of my FAVORITE clothing stores is good ol' Goodwill! It's amazing the things you can find at a super low cost! If I can get a bargain, I'm a happy girl. :) So today I'm after skirts, and I found one skirt in my size from Gap ( no sewing involved ), and this 90's style dress that was too big on me, but I know that if I cut off the top part of this dress it would make an adorable maxi skirt! Total cost $9.00! :-)
My sewing work
I have always loved lace shorts! So why not just take an old pair and do it yourself! If you don't know how to use a sewing machine you can always hand stitch it or maybe try a fabric glue. I took the lace off of one of my older shirts, but you can always buy lace of your choice. :)

New project of the day!
Well I headed to the fabric store today and bought this awesome stretch fabric! I'm so in LOVE with this print. :-) Well funny thing is, this dress was suppose to be a skirt, but fit way better on my body as a dress. So here it is! I also took some left over fabric and wrapped it around my hat. Thanks to my 6 year old son for taking mommies pictures ;-)
My little family :)
